After
the earthquake on Easter Sunday, I was reminded that
from time to time it’s not such a bad idea to
have things shaken up. Overtime our routine and the
familiar can put us in a place of stagnation. Whether
it’s a job that we’ve been at for years,
afraid to leave in order to pursue our dreams or staying
in an unhappy relationship for fear of re-entering the
dating world. Shaking things up can move us out of any
complacency.
Like little tremors, people we come in contact with,
situations we find our selves in or even an article
we came across, nudges us to move out of our comfort
zone. Forecasting the inevitable, they serve as little
reminders and if ignored, the “big one”
might end up being our wake up call. It might arrive
as a sudden death of a loved one, an illness, a divorce
or a lost of a job. Fortunately, we don’t have
to wait until the big one strikes to start making changes.
Take the first step by asking yourself the following
questions:
What
areas in your life have become complacent and are
demanding some re-evaluating?
Do
you need to make some changes in order to ignite renewed
inspiration and passion in your work?
What
steps do you need to set in motion in order to find
the right partner?
What
do you need to experience more of in order to live
more authentically?

become a vehicle to arouse creativity. Because many creative
individuals posses an attuned sensitivity to their environment
and experiences, this can be an effective tool to utilize
for creative productivity.Read
